My older brother always said “If you never fall down, you aren’t trying hard enough.”
He was talking about snowboarding. I think this applies to many things in life or life in general. If you never push your limits how do you really know what you can accomplish? Every time I 'fall down’ I try to remind myself what he said.
I may have fallen this time but next time I try I have a better chance at success because I learned. It could be anything from a failed attempt at making crepes (which can be tricky by the way!) to getting a rejection letter from an editor (it happens!!), I am pushing my limits. I may fall down but you can be sure that I’m going to pick myself back up and keep going-the crepes turned out perfect the second try, and more queries are out there!
